Not just a CrossFit trainer, John is also an accomplished boxer with more than 50 fights under his belt, reaching the peak of his career during the qualification period for the Swedish national team. Following a move from his hometown to a new city, John opted to try his hand at a new sport and, after a quick google through local gyms, he came across a CrossFit Box.
In his own words, he ‘walked into the box, 4 weeks before the Open and saw a group of people doing muscle ups, snatches and other movements that I had no idea of but they looked cool!’ And, as simple as that, John was hooked.
His strong boxing background and coaching experience garnered from the ring, stood him in good stead and helped him transition quickly and easily into CrossFit.
A passionate coach, John likes working with members to understand and help them attain their fitness goals. He firmly believes in the functional aspect of CrossFit, enabling people to go about their daily life without any hindrance.
Personally, John aims to compete at the highest levels globally both individually and as part of team.
